Listing Your Home
Setting a proper market-value price will attract the most potential buyers, and give your home the best exposure. Your Real Estate Agent will explain to you the multitude of factors that influencepricing, including: competitive pricing, current market stats, and of course the estimated value of your home. They will also handle the legal paperwork and negotiations on your behalf.
You will sign a Listing Agreement, which gives your REALTOR® permission to post your property on the MLS (Multiple Listing Service). They will begin marketing your home through a variety of mediums — digital and traditional — and inform other real estate agents in their network that your property is on the market.
Closing
After the hard work of marketing and promoting your home pays off, you’ll hopefully have an ideal offer submitted in a timely fashion. Once you have negotiated and accepted an offer, the buyer may want to conduct a home inspection and secure financing. When all ‘Conditions’ are fulfilled, or ‘Waived’ then the deal is firm.
You will hire a lawyer for the final paperwork and transfer of Title, and you can look forward to moving on to your next adventure!
